Founded by Meg who has spent her career fighting for women's safety.
Reclaim The Night Co was born out of frustration — and decades of frontline experience. Meg has worked in specialist Domestic and Family Violence services, supporting women through some of the most difficult, dangerous moments of their lives. Safety planning is part of that
work. Personal alarms are part of that safety planning.
But the alarms available were cheap, bulky, unreliable, or
embarrassing to carry. They didn't reflect the women using them — and they
certainly didn't feel empowering. So we decided to change that.
MEG's STORY
Meg is a qualified Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner and Social Worker with over eight years' experience working in — and managing — specialist DFV services. Her work has always been grounded in social justice, gender equality, and the belief that every woman deserves autonomy over her own life and safety.
